New purse made from old tablecloths using ctgirl's excellent tutorial!

My mother collects old linen and buys mass amounts at thrift stores, and a lot of them have stains on them that she hopes to get out. But if she can't, she gives them to me! Which is where I got this lovely vintage tablecloth to make this purse. I also lined it with a gorgeous white linen tablecloth. I used interfacing to stabilize it, but I think I used one grade too heavy, but it's ok! I still love it. I'm quite proud of it Smiley

I love how you can take something like a cheap tablecloth from a thrift shop and make it into a pretty bag like yours. I also really like the size of it. Lovely job! Smiley

Hey, that's lovely.  You did a great job cutting the cloth in the right places to show off that big flower design.  Excellent!
