Hello All... So, I'm in a bit of a bind. I have to do this assignment for my AP politics class- we're doing a presidentials thesis, and to go with the paper, we have to make an ornament of our president.. so, I guess it would have been okay if I had an easy president, but I winded up with Warren G. Harding.. who really didn't do anything I can form into an ornament. So I was just wondering if anyone had any creative ways to transform my kinda boring president into a cool ornament?... (so I can get a good grade  Grin)

Thanks much!

We used ot do as kids, make a copy of a face pic of him on projector paper (it is plastic and clear, not really paper) Get a clear glass ornament, then cut around in a cirlce of the pic, roll it up and then stick it inside the ornament, where it unfurls. Kind of boring, but the easiest thing that I could think of;p

If I wanted easy, I would just go and look for a teapot ornament at Walmart and then paste a pic of Harding on the side of the ornament.  I know I've seen ornaments of teapots this year.  My first thought was "Hey, Harding was prez during the Teapot Dome scandal!"

You could go and buy one of those styrofoam balls at the craft store or use a ball Christmas ornamentand and make a little harding collage on it.  You could put a pic of him, a big number 29, a quote by him, a picture of ohio, a teapot...and since his term was marked by the scandal of his cabinet members, I would print out a picture of a kitchen cabinet and glue that on there too.  But that's just me and my odd sense of humor.  He may not have been a very exciting president, but if you take all the little facts about him, you could make a pretty interesting ornament.

Why in heck don't I get fun assignments???  Oh yeah, Im a nursing student, that's why. Sad
