Hah, hah, I guess no one introduced you all to steamAseam2, 1/4inch. You put the adhesive side where you want to seam, put the second piece on top, steam it briefly, glued together. then you sew your seam, and voila! no slippage.

Good idea but doesn't help with the channels for the crochet hook holders. They have a tendency to slip or curl anyway as you sew over them, this fabrics slipperiness made them 10x worse. Steam a seam would help with the movement but would make putting the crochet hooks in a bit dificult.

Is your dog this well-behaved for his/her dog treats?

Mine is!  The secret?  Homemade dog biscuits! Up now in my shop and specially packaged for Halloween!

(Excuse the peanut butter thumb, but my dog somehow knew I was making him something.. so, I let him have one--precooked! Stinker!)

All the treats are all-natural and organic whenever possible.  Include your pups in Halloween festivities!

Wow, fantastic portrait, Phizzychick!

I have been playing with dyes all evening. Here is the scarf from yesterday:

It ended up kind of pink on turquoise (the pink is actually solid, the color variation is due to the sheen of the satin). I tested the brown on turquoise tonight and it seemed to turn out normally. I'm closed right now, but after I ship and shop (probably Saturday) I'll be adding a bunch of scarves to my shop. Sunday looks like it will be cold and rainy and a good day to hang around the house and craft Smiley
