I made a travel backgammon set over the summer. The board was made of felt and the triangles were appliqued on. The lines round the board were made from embroidery thread which I twisted and whiplashed on. I sewed seed beads at the bottom of each triangle to remind me how many pieces go where and what colour, because I'm bad at that! *lol* The game pieces were made from Fimo and they live in a Bertie Botts Beans bag with the dice. (The theme of the board was Gryffindor colours.) I attached a couple of ribbons to the back of the board to allow the board to be rolled up for storage.

The colours are more vibrant IRL, but I took the photos at night, bad lighting unfortunately  Grin

That's the most stylish backgammon set I've ever seen.
