I love these... they are fun and easy to make... and a lot of the work is done for you, buttons and buttonholes!

AND then, as you might have noticed, I make a cute reversable bag to match! What little girlie doesn't want a matching bag?!?!? LOL

I HAVE to make this for my granddaughter.  I love it!  And the purse is priceless.  I love how little girls carry little purses around!

Oh I love this too! Please tell me this wasn't a man's shirt. hehe

Actually NO, this wasn't a mens shirt... but there are some WILD mens shirts out there!

Depending on sizes of the pieces leftover, a factor of what size the original shirt is, the size of the dress you make, and the type shirt... you just figure something out...

There is usually the bottom part of the sleeve, I did a l/s shirt once, there was lots! and the bottom few inches of the back of the shirt also... along with a few pieces from the sides as well as the whole collar.

So for instance: sleeves are straps of purse, back hem is the body of the purse, and the button from the collar and maybe even a collar corner form the closure of the purse.

My purses are never the same, because all the factors are different every shirt -> dress that I do...

Try it and POST those pics Wink Inquiring minds HAVE to know... LOL
