I learned to crochet first, taught myself most of what I know.  Then I taught myself to knit and it took several tries to get it right.  I am a much slower knitter than crocheter, I love double stranded double crochet scarves, they go so quick!  I have been to scared to try cables or socks, I know I'd stab myself with those dpns!  I guess I may hold my needles like a hook, no one has ever told me I'm "wrong" (or "right") but I just go for it, and some how, things come out ok.

I received the best package from Elphalba!  I went out of town the day I got it, and just got home, and don't even have pictures yet.  She sent a cool knitting book and a circular knitting needle.  And the scarf is gorgeous - very bright, rich colors, and knit in a huge tube so it can be worn normally, or as a turtleneck, or in a billion other ways I can think of.  Pictures coming tomorrow!

Thanks, Elphalba, and also to our wonderful organizers!

I came home from school today to an amazing package from olliorange! An excellent way to start Thanksgiving break, I must say. I received a thick and comfy rib knit scarf, some knitting needles (much better than knitting with chopsticks XD), and a cute little cozy for my mp3 player. Thanks again for angeling, you're the best Cheesy

Group shot!

What a goofy picture.

The rest.

And just for fun, an artsy shot.
