Those are beautiful scarves... and HUGE! I love how wide they are.

kristenp - is that a preview of the adorn coming out this month? I haven't received my subscription in the mail yet... what a great job you have.

yup - that's the new Adorn Smiley
it's coming out on newstands on Nov 6.  and i do love my job.

I also forgot to mention in my previous post that the scarf Brittany (oneyedsally) knit me is actually the first knitted object she's finished (not the first she's knit, but the first she got to bind off and block and what not.. and a cable to boot).  I'm so impressed...I didn't get a close up picture of the scarf but it's extremely well done.  all of my friends are jealous.. thank you again brittany.   I'm posting the picture again so you don't have to go back...

and I'm glad you like the scarf.  I'll look for the name of the stitch and post it later...

Here is the beautiful scarf that I received from rissarox - sorry for it being sideways.

Also received was a cute little bottlecap pin, and a nature sounds cd to remind me of fall!

jloveg, a muff is a wonderful but overlooked item  Smiley When I was 7 years old I have a navy blue velvet one trimmed with white fur as part of a bridesmaids outfit *wistful sigh* I have loved velvet ever since  Smiley Maybe for this winter I ought to recreate the muff

Use what talent you possess - the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except those that sang best
