Black_Cat: BlueKiwiCat is right, you import a photo into PCStitch(I've found the more close up the phot is, the more detailed the cross stitch chart will be. For example, I had a landscape photo I wanted to do, but the chart generated was too blurry and you couldn't really tell what it was, so upclose=good.) You go through a series of menues that will help convert the picture into a cross stitch chart. PCStitch chooses the colors to use for you based on the number and brand you want to use. Then once the chart is generated, you print it out in black and white, with each color being represented by a different symbol, and start stitiching. I find these projects are very easy if you work in rows of 10x10 blocks. I usually use a marker to color in the stitches I've completed so that I don't lose my place. Otherwise, I'd NEVER be able to finish one!

BlueKiwiCat: Thanks! It really wasn't has hard as it looks! I was scared to take it on, but now I don't really want to do any projects other than converted photos. Maybe I'm a glutton for punishment and will make myself go blind is 2 years Smiley
