Thanks all!

turtle - What I've been doing with all my t-shirt modifications (and now reconstructions) is turning the shirts inside out, putting them on, and pinning them to follow my curves. Then I just follow the pins with my sewing machine. Smiley It seems to be the super-easy way to make things fit well. Good luck with your recons!

And yeah, with the sheep and all, it really was just begging to be made into a nightie.

suka, you make me blush!

Thank you!!

toki, have you heard about Blik? They make wall decals and they've recently started doing a bunch of Threadless designs... the Insomnia wall decal is so awesome, I've been lusting after it! Too bad I don't have a spot in my bedroom for it. Undecided

ladykat and vivifromage, you have no doubt steered thousands of dollars of business to threadless.com.  And I personally thank you!  I bought the Insomnia T a couple weeks ago when they had a blow-out sale (OMG) and my son and I got this exact one.  And we got 4 versions of another, and 2 versions of another, some for us, some for friends and family.  ANYWAY... I have a couple expressly for doing a recon, and this one is RIGHT ON.  Nice job!

Haha, mandodeb... the big Threadless project I'm working on at the moment is actually a quilt - my Craftster post is here.

Threadless has some amazing tees, and so many are just ripe for recons ('specially if you can get 'em cheap during the sales!). I actually originally had Insomnia in the girly tee, but the print was too high for my tastes... so then I decided I'd buy a larger size that I could turn into a nightie. It's such a favorite of mine!

I hope to see your recons!

Oh, ladycat, you hit the nail on the head. And to think, so many gals are content just to shlump around in the unmodded 2XL!

That's so cute!  I'll have to hide this from my DH or he'll demand that I make one, haha.
