I so wanted to craft more items to put inside the bag.  Between working full time, 4 kids, and a hubby who travels all the time...I just couldn't fit it into the schedule.  Sad

I did put my heart and soul into the bags, though...does that count?   Wink

Of course it counts.  I was impressed by the quality of the bags.  Some of us concentrated on the bags other of us what was in them was the concentration for crafting.  But the goal was to make the kids happy.  And you did. Thank You

I've got the photos on my camera...with DH headed off to China on Sunday, I've been way busy so I haven't even had a chance to get them off the camera and onto the computer.

But for the record, the stuffies were such a huge hit!  Little Mia squeals in delight every time she sees hers.  And Zachary played with his so much that he misplaced it...and was sooo persistent to find it that he even looked behind the toilet!

I'll put photos up as soon as I can.  But I have to warn everyone here...

You will all be very jealous Wink

I'd like to think that I have advanced sewing skills.  I have never ever made a stuffie...and I think it boils down to - I'm skerred to. LOL.  For some reason, I'm intimidated.  Is that weird?

Ok....soooo, let the drumroll begin!

First, the LOOT

I'll start with the oldest kids and go down to the youngest.

Even though I told dragonslair that it wasn't necessary to do anything for the older kids - she made sure that they wouldn't be left out.

Mickey. 13yo girl who thinks she's a bada$$.  She loves anything black, pirates, anime etc.  dragonslair totally captured Mickey's personality.  She made her a small bag out of pirate fabric.

Action shot (she hates to smile for the camera - she wants people to think she's a bada$$)

I know better and I know how to get her to giggle:

The LOOT:
Includes the awesome bag, soap (with a spider inside), a pencil, and candy:

Cody, 11yo boy.  Cody has recently become obsessed with making lanyards.  I Love that one of my kids have some kind of crafting in them!

The LOOT. Includes the awesome bag, a kicka$$ lanyard organizer (cody LOVES this), soap with a spider inside, tattoo and sticker books, a pencil, and candy

Closeup of the lanyard organizer (closed):

Closeup (open):

And action shot (yes, my son has LOOONNNGGG hair)

Zachary, 2yo boy. Zachary is just all boy.

The LOOT: includes awesome bag, the stuffie BUNNY that Z has suddenly become attached to, soap with eyeball in middle, pencil, tattoo and sticker books, and candy

Zachey action shot with his Bunny:

Zachey action shot with his bag:

I have no action shots of little Mia..she was napping when the package was invaded with the rest of the kids:

Mia, 7month old girl.

The LOOT: includes awesome bag (not pictured for some reason  Undecided), teddy bear stuffie, 2 burping pads (umm, too pretty and soft to use as burping pads..she already likes to cuddle with them)

Closeup of the bear:

Ok...so I bombarded y'all with photos..but I have 4 kids that dragonslair spoiled!  It was necessary to show it off as much as possible!!!

The pirate bag was made with my personal stash of fabric.  I love that skull and roses print too bad it is too expensive to make a dress out of.  Mia's bear was made out of the scraps from big sis's bag.  (Don't worry I still had enough fabric left to make another bag for my oldest dd in VA and embellish my jeans with it).  The yellow fabric Katie donated to Mia's burp pad from the left overs from the reversible dress I made Katie for Halloween.  The taggie blanket was a last minute thing the scraps of pink fleece (rescued from one of those annoying fancy fleece scarf kits) were calling out to be sewn and well the ribbon just found it's way here from a fill - a - flat- rate box swap.  Deven loves his taggie and hope Mia will like hers.  The Pirate bunny was my first attempt at that pattern.  www.weewonderfuls.typepad.com/wee_wonderfuls/store/wee-bunny.html
I've noticed a lot of those bunnies on craftster
Cody's Lanyard case worried me.  I based it off the crochet and knitting cases I've done for past swaps.  I am so glad he likes it.  I will send him the lanyard pen diy instructions just as soon as I get into the storage unit.  SO must have packed my pattern books.

WOO i got my package....well my babies got their package!! and they were SOOO happy....thank you SO much Angela...you really did a wonderful job! Murphee went crazy over his bag, and when i opened it, i saw why! lol...

first here is Lily Moon's loot:

she got a beautiful crocheted bag, a crocheted cupcake, a handstitched felt cookie, a BEAUTIFUL shirt, that i LOVE, and GUMMY WORMS!! (she loves gummy worms....)

she LOVED her cookie, it was her favorite thing by far!

styling the bag, shirt and of course, the cookie

Murphee Leigh's Pirate Booty:

he recieved a beautful bad that was lovingly (and painstakingly) handstitched! with a skull and crossbones on it (i forgot what its called, but i do know...) a plastic (maybe squeekie) toy in red and orange, 2 bags of tasties, and a crocheted eyeball stuffie that i dont think i will let him play with! he is a destroyer....haha

he ran off with this immediately!! he loves toys so much

the bag, she even spelled his name right! i love that....Murphee Leigh, even my own family gets it wrong! lol

the eyeball stuffie, and a fantastic day of the dead-esqu pin she included for me...i love it

she also sent me a bottle of glow in the dark paint, which i always need...i love making things glowy!

Thanks so MUCH Cookies...you were a fantastic Partner, and my family all says thank you (and murph would say it too, if i could find him, or that toy!! lol)

I HAD TO REMOVE MY BROKE LINKS, I WILL FIX THEM ASAP FIXED

Glad you like it all, MissDisney!   Grin  I had a blast making it!

Would you believe I got that shirt at a thrift store for all of 80 cents?  LOL, I'm glad it fits, it was too cute to pass up!

I was hoping Logan's package would arrive today, but no, I guess we'll have to wait a couple more days.  It's probably a good thing though, he got a brand new bike today, so that's taken all his attention.

Lily looks gorgeous, and Murphee - the way he's smiling for the camera - that is SOOOO cute!  I love when dogs do that.  Wink
