EDIT: They put one of these pics in a story in the Harvard Crimson, woohoo! http://www.thecrimson.com/article.aspx?ref=505590

So, when you have a dorm room with disgusting tan tile, and boring white walls, what do you do? PINK, RED, AND ORANGE MANIA!!

Some notable things in this picture:
1) the records hanging over the window are old ones I found a couple years ago, drilled holes in them, strung them together
2) the flowered colorful fabric on the right is an urban outfitters bedsheet hanging from the top edging

This room functions as my bedroom, and our common room, so I put a hot pink canopy around my bed. It is held to the ceiling with 3M Xmas light clips and wire.

The bathroom is all blue and green, with plants and colorful posters!

Wow!  Where on Earth did you get your futon cover?  More importantly, why on Earth did my dorm room never come close to being that cool? Great job!  Grin

Ebay! It was cheap too.

Most of the decorating was done in the 1-week free time we had between move-in and classes.

that is beyond fabulous! I was trying to think of something to use as a hanging room divider for my livingroom...those curtains would totally do the trick!
