A coupla scoodies for gifts and one for me.

(taking pictures of myself cracks me up)

This was made with a recycled sweater and itty bitty jersey knit scraps.  For my sister who is turning 18 and needs something to cover her head while she waits in line for the club on her birthday.  (18 is legal drinking age here)


And, my favorite, which is a sweater originally boughten to make sweater boots with, but apparently I suck at hand sewing.  The other side is twill, which wrinkles terribly, but I don't mind.

Its got pockets on the ends!


Annnnd, the faux fur and stripey jersey knit for a friend.  Very long, very warm, very heavy.  But was a total bugger to sew.

Being a Florida native, of course I've never heard of a scoodie*, but they sure are cute.  I may have to do one fo DD just for giggles.  Very nice work!

*we native Floridians are also unfamiliar with the concept of a "summer weight" jacket.  I had never heard of such a thing until I spied the beautiful ones on Vegbee's Etsy.
