Those are so cute.  I am making some for a button swap they have been really fun to make.  I do not have a button machine though.

thanks for all the replies!! These were fun to make. I have a "Button Maker" model 100 for 1 inch buttons. I made a circle template and traced it onto the fabric, then freehand stitched all the embroidery. (the mushrooms are satin stitch) Cut out all the embroidered fabric circles and use them in the machine in place of paper and plastic circles. on most of them it left a bit of fray around the edge but I just trimmed it off. voila! cute fabric buttons to pin on where you please.
