This is a great idea. Hooray for reducing waste!

My boyfriend's grandma does something very similar which I think I will try this year; she wraps our gifts in dish towels and shoelaces, and then we can use them later!

So glad you did post about this fab idea, lovething! I just love it and definitely will make some too. Smiley

You might want to consider setting up a small shop, as I'm sure more people would love to buy and use these as they are adorable and eco-friendly.

Thats amazing! My grandma always saves the wrapping paper from presents to be reused and makes us open presents at the seams so we won't tear the paper. I think I am going to make some of these for her so I won't see the same paper my present was wrapped in 5 years ago anymore!

Haha! My hubby's gramma does this too - but only with paper she really likes!

I would do this for this Christmas, but where we are celebrating, there will be at least 19 people opening gifts at the same time, and I'd hate to see something like this get accidentally thrown away!

This is fantastic and so pretty. I hate wasting all that paper to. We won't even wrap birthday presents usually.^^

This is such a great idea...Thanks!  I will make some in all seasonal fabrics for the hospital and nursing home visits I make.  I enjoy making gifts that can be used over and over.  Recycling is a topic we all need to learn more about.

Thanks so much much this is such a fantastic idea. For a very long time now I've been wrapping gifts using a paper tablecloth roll and drawing on it! This is something that I already have all the 'ingredients' for and I think I might be able to replicate successfully. Genius!
