Cute. But I think a negative with a image on it would be cuter.   Wink

As a (hopeful) photographer, I think those are awesome.  I do second the idea of having an image on them though.  I think that would make for some interesting conversation.

I like this concept. Smiley

If you do use one with an image, it would probably be better to have an image that fills the whole frame. That would make it easier to see on the negative.

When exposed to light over a period of time, negatives will lose their images...hmm.  I wonder what you could do to keep the negative from disintegrating.

I think it would be cool with or without an image -- there's something a little spooky about negative images, and there's something sort of "tabula rasa" about an image-less strip.

My suggestion: capture the strip in two squares of plexiglass or those microscope slides, edge it with silver tape and attach a bail. It might make it last longer.

i was thinking something similar, but maybe more along the lines of little metal frames? black or silver perhaps. i think image or no image it can work!

I think Krylon makes a UV protectant spray...

However sunlight and light in general are the enemy of all photographs.

You could take an existing picture or print one out and modpodge it to the back so it shows through. I think thatd be super cute

yay. I have a whole reel of blank film like that as my friend works at the photo counter and just gave it to me instead of throwing it away. I'd be interested to see ones with striking negative images on them... but yeah, this is cool. Smiley
