amelia went and outgrew her dress. chubby baby. so i made a new one. but they ran out of black polka dot fabric at joanns somehow, so i used the heart fabric (lol, alexander henry fabric again, go figure...). then i made a blanket from the heart fabric, needed more, and now they're out of that. i needed more for a diaper cover. but she started crawling 2 days ago, so a dress kinda hobbles her now anyway! and she does have a diaper in the pink fabric...

no breast pump in the background this time! and i realized her ear was stuck and fixed it after i took this picture. the dress is so tight it barely went over her head. it didn't seem so bad going on, and it didn't fit too tightly, then i thought i'd have to cut her out! (this is the old dress)

Aww... great now I'm going to be fighting the urge to have another baby on the off chance that I could finally get a girl to make dresses for!

Seriously though, awesomeness.  Wish I had this kind of talent and patience.  I'm a horrible crafter because I expect instant gratification.

So fabulous!

and she still might get some wear out of the first one---at least, when mine started crawling she thinned out really fast.

Coffy or bouncy, it's all the same at the bottom of the river.

it has a small opening at the center back with a button, and if i made it come down further i think she could maybe get in and out of it a little longer. but it's pretty tight to go to the trouble, she's a chunky monkey!
