Pomelo is commonly used to celebrate moon festival.
Here is the Pomelo Lantern I made:

It's easy. You need tea light candle and chopstick. But please don't be quick, be careful when you are using the knife. And please put something under the Pomelo Lantern, coz the wax may leak out of the Pomelo. Also never leave a lighted candle unattended.

It's kind of like a traditional crafts, so I didn't create this idea.

OMG! Who would ever think to use a Pomelo to make a lantern, but I love it!  It's unique and meaningful, and I'm going to hit this rocks before I pass out from excitement and envy.  Cheesy

I love this, you could use different citrus fruits, and have many sizes. I bet this would great on deck or picnic table at night in the summer.
