Hi Crafsters!
My name is Chrissy. I've had an on-again, off-again relationship with this site for a while, but now that I am totally done with school I hope to have lots more time for making stuff. I'm originally from New York but moved to Texas three years ago for my boyfriend (luckily, we're still together!). I'm a writer, a book reviewer, a librarian, a blogger and League Manager/skater for the Piney Woods Roller Derby.

My favorite crafts are zines, book binding, sewing and embroidery. I also like to make knick-knacks - magnets, shrines, home decor. I like art and crafts that are functional as well as decorative. I've recently become obsessed with craft swaps, so if you're into that kind of thing I'm sure we'll run into each other on the boards.

And if I haven't bored you enough already, check out my blog at www.christinehennessey.blogspot.com.

Hi Christine,

I checked out your blog...what a pisser! "candalizing the deep South" As a native NY'er living in Florida (and contemplating TX( I totally get it! I can't really welcome you, because I just joined myself, after you. But I just want to say hi! Or should I say howdy?  Cheesy

hey! i'm only a border away. i wanted to say what's up and all that stuff, but i also wanted to let you know that i'm a fellow derby girl. i'm one of the co-founders of the new red stick roller derby team, we're only a few months old but we're getting our skates in the door.

i'm always on the look out for new derby inspired crafts and what not, so it'd be cool to have a sister bounce some ideas off of.

later!
