It has been a LONG LONG time since I have posted on Craftster.

I came up with this idea bc I saw a shirt that said "fuck cancer." I have celiac and thought it would be cute to make some grocery totes that say "fuck gluten" or "eff gluten"

what do you think?

That cracks me up....but I'm a mom and not supposed to use the f word. Shocked My daughter and I are celiacs too.  She always says "Gluten is EVIL!"  It never occurred to me to stencil it on anything but now I think I will!

ha that's so funny. i have celiac disease, too...but i run around saying i love it more than anyone else. it'd make way more sense to do the opposite.

thanks everyone! I thought it would be cute to give some of these to some friends with celiac. I think They'll like them! I made one last night that says, "eff celiac"

now I want to make one that says, "gluten is evil" HAHA! too cute!

thanks! -p

Your stitches look very professional and you have a great sense of humour  Cheesy

I was tested for gluten intolerance a few months ago, but luckily it was negative. I mean... gluten is in almost everything! I did find out I have Crohn's disease, but at least I don't have to think about everything I eat.

Gluten is EVIL would be even a better slogan! I'd love to see it when it's finished!

Hahaha!  I LOVE IT!  I think I know what I'm making a bunch of people for Christmas! (My grandma, my mom, my sister and I have it, as does my boyfriend's Grandma, mother, and sister. It's nice because all holidays are gluten-free!  Much easier that way.)  I may not put the "F*CK" part on the grandmothers' or mothers' projects though. haha!  Thanks for making my day!  (By the way, I am happy to hear there are other gluten-intolerant and celiac posters!)
