market bag made from plastic grocery bags

My market bag made from plastic grocery bags . It took about 65 bags to make this bag.It is not lined, but can hold a lot of stuff... I am working on one bag made from black bags (the kind one can get from liquor stores) and line it with a piece of pajama leg. It will totally be recycled.

Great idea!  Nothing better than turning that stockpile of grocery bags into something cute, sturdy AND useful!

I like the shape of this bag.  I had started to cut plastic bags into strips forever-ago, and never made anything out of the strips!  Thanks for reminding me- I'll have to dig them out and knitty knitty!!!
