I was inspired by ChaeleaAnne's super sweet table runner. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=129930.0

It's not nearly as cool, not even by half. I did learn lots of things, so at least there's that.

This was the first thing I actually quilted with batting instead of flannel. I made it on my ancient craptastic sewing machine that eats fabric like nobody's business.  (The machine is slated to be retired a la the printer on office space.) I feel it is no small miracle that I actually finished one, let alone 4.

The finished strips are 1/2 inch, and it was not paper pieced.  I machine quilted each one differently for experiment sake.  The color combination is weird, but it's so crazy I can't help but giggle when I look at it.  Something much needed at the dinner table when the 2 yr old is screaming/whining/crying/behaving like a 2 yr old.

Hope you like it and its strange strangeness. Cheesy

Wow!  Great job, those are really different and fun!  Love the colors too, it must have taken a long time to sew all the small strips together, but what a fun result!
