Thanks! Gannon, making the fabric taut-er was trial and error. I found out that a couch is basically fluff on the front of a pretty open wooden frame, so what I did was actually pull the fabric all the way through the couch and staple the bottom of it to the back of the wooden frame. It's hard to explain, but it makes sense when you have your couch all opened up.

Sweets, I made the cushion covers smaller and square so they were more taut and rearranged the batting inside some. I'll do your couch anytime! Smiley

Oh, I am so jealous. I have been wanting to do this to our loveseat, but I'm so afraid I'll take apart my perfectly functional but horribly stained loveseat, and then not be able to put it back together again.
You did such a great job!

craftADDchick, I totally want to make some cool pillows for it. I'm waiting until we find something to cover that horrible linoleum floor you see, so it can match!

Don't know the details of your sitch, but Cost Plus World Market is having an up-to-50% off all rugs sale right now.

Fantastic job!! I think it is especially impressive that you gave the couch a new shapelyness. Plus the dark gray is very classy.

Thanks dudes!! I love my new couch!

And then you'll need some cool new artwork to hang over the couch...and maybe some fabulous curtains, too!

Ooh, sweet! totally checking now!

We have some wedding pictures hung over the couch now, but curtains are definitely in order. That's the terrible (fun) thing about redecorating--once you do one thing, you have to do the whole room! Cheesy
