So heres a funny story, I knit this whole thing in one sitting triple stranded and on the last pattern repeat I realized that I had calucalted the yardage thinking I was going to knit it double stranded! I had to knit it twice, good thing this was an easy enjoyable knit, great for knitters new to lace.

I keep the pattern the same except I subbed yarn and didn't make a strap

That turned out really pretty.  I would love to knit it but it wouldn't look as cute on me as it does on you!

i used Tahki/ Stacy Charles Fiji yarn which is a woven tubular yarn in lime green. I got it on sale for 2.50 a skien and I used jsut under 5 skiens.

if i were to knit this again i would def. consider using rowan bamboo tape ( if it weren't so expensive!) and knitting it in a larger size.

Also I modified the top bind off, using a more elastic method so it could easly come on and off

thanks everyone for the comments!

really any tape yarn, ribbon yarn would work well with this tank top.
