Really cute! I like the apron, but I can see what you mean about the french maid... Maybe if you added something to the apron? Black lace, checkers, polka dots, etc (maybe not ALL these things, but something to dress it up a little and tie into the rest of the outfit)

Having the dolly makeup and hair will really help over all though.

Great work!

The apron does make it a bit French maid looking, but I love the outfit!

Thanks everyone for all your positive comments.

Maybe I should get a feather duster and go with the French maid.

It was so easy to make that I may do one in red and be little red riding hood for Halloween.

I like it with the apron.  I would definitely go with some bloomers though.  That would make it more dolly like, maybe with some lace trim around the bottom.  Bloomers aren't all that difficult.  Use the seam bits from a pair of fitting shorts, then make them all poofed all, like puffy sleeves.  yeah.  Maybe make a real dolly to tuck into your apron.  Definitely post pictures of the final product!!

I realllly like it, especially with the apron.  It kind of pulls it all together, in my opinion.  I think it won't look too french maid-ish once you have the tights and blouse and stuff.  Those kind of things don't scream "french maid!!!" at me.

But yeah, that is reallly cute and I love it!

You did such a good job on that! I think that with blush circles on your cheeks and pigtails you would be easily recognized as a doll. Oh, and baby doll shoes!
