well we decided on a costume for my 6 yr old DD, Snow Princess. We were garage sailing yesterday and I came across the coolest old bathrobe and I thought, hmm what could I do with this?? Snow Princess! I knew the idea of any kind of princess would have her putty in my hands lol so anyway this is the beginning of her costume, I'll just add to the thread when I get the actual costume done but I was thrilled with the crown and had to share!!

I used these  snowflake thingys I actually got at another garage sale 2 summers ago, lots of hot glue and crystal beads , craft wire. Wanna hear the best part?? those snowflake things, GLOW IN THE DARK!!  she also helped me with it! my little crafter in training!

as we went along....

the end result/ front

the back...

okay I made some additions because it  just didn't look right to me.  so here it is again...don't mind the dirty girl I made her come in from playing outside so I could take the pic  Grin

Wow!  Lucky girl!  That crown is awesome and I can't wait to see the rest of the costume.
