Wow! I haven't managed to teach myself to knit yet, but I was inspired by your kick butt hat! Maybe I could learn by Christmas and knit one for my boy- he would probably react like yours did! Wink

i think if i do not make this hat, my boyfriend will never love me. Shocked wish i had found it sooner, it would have been an incredible one-year anniversary gift!!

Holy crap!  Your hat is awesome.  I just saw it today and I love it.  Thanks for the chart - I'm going to try to knit it for my 7yr old nephew.  I've never done stranded work and don't have any experience modifying a chart for fit - but if it turns out too big I'll just give it to his dad who's also a Transformers nut.  You have mad skills. Hah, so my little brother saw this and was like "That's awesome!!  You're making one for me!!"  I'm going to have a go at it, because it is pretty AMAZING!!!  I printed the pdf, but it didn't print out in English... NO idea what that's about...  Thanks for posting the charts though!  I can't wait to (learn how to) make this!!

??  That's crazy!  If you want, pm me with an email address and I can email you a copy (in English)...  I don't know how or why someone would have changed the language.  Has anyone else had that problem?

Yay!!  My mom opened it at work and it printed just fine!!  I think there was something up with my computer that it didn't have the coding for the font or something like that, idk.  But thanks!!  The older brother's in on it too, now.  He was just trying to tell me over dinner that "our friend thinks it would be pretty cool if you made me one of those hats!!"  Grin I did have a question or two about the pattern though.  1) what does "pm" mean?  2) and what's a kitchener stitch?  I'm fairly new to knitting, and can't find it in either of the books I have...  Thanks bunches!!

Thanks for posting that pattern!  My BF (who had to buy the Transformers movie the day it came out) will definitely be getting one of these.
