My friend just a had a baby and my boys total love cuddly car seat sized blankets that they got as babies so I decided to make her son one. Here it is:
Front

Back

It's a tied quilt and other than rag quilts I made my boys, the first real quilt I've done. I know it's all wonky, but I'm really pleased for my first time.

Great job! I'm sure they'll love it. And I love the colors, esp that blast of blue on the back. It's great!

It's not wonky, it's pretty! I love those little quilts, too. Making one always makes me feel like I've achieved something, but it doesn't take near as long as sewing a regular sized quilt.
