or when you accidentally smash a plain blue bowl on the kitchen floor and your 18 year old daughter helps you pick it up and holds out the large pieces, 'Do you want to keep these for something?'

Love that!!!

YKYACW people are asking if you're making your Halloween costume this year. Yes, in June I'm being questioned about Halloween.
Last year I put together a costume using an outfit from my closet and a pair of fairy wings. My customers were disappointed because they were so captivated by the pirate costume I made for 2011.

Your food shop for the week is considerably less than what you've spent at Hobbycraft that week.
Though, in my defense, both myself and my Mr craft, so what is mine is his, and vice versa when it comes to craft things Grin

YKYACW people think that a bandage on your finger means you've had a crafting accident.

YKYACW ... you want to make a matching hat to a scarf you made and can't find a top-down pattern for a k3p3 ribbed hat so you just set about creating a pattern yourself!

Naturally, I'm diligently writing down every step I'm taking, because k3p3 ribbed hat patterns are more complicated than I thought they would be! Since the scarf is k3p3, I really wanted to repeat the pattern in the hat, and most ribbed patterns are either k1p1, k2p1 or k2p2 (and I'm starting to get why!) so what is woman to do but craft her own pattern? I do hope I'll soon have enough surface area to stop my increases though!

You know you're a Craftster when instead of finding change in the couch cushions, you can find enough lost beads to string a necklace. Grin
