When you blab to your best friend about how excited you are for your first swap and he/she doesn't know what you're talking about.

Aww, feel better!  I'm lucky, my Michaels and JoAnns are right across the parking lot from one another....best thing ever, really.

Haha, got that beat: I have an A.C.Moore right next to a Michaels, and 2 minutes down the road is a Joann's.

YKYACW you find ways to overlap your renewed love of crocheting into assigned projects in your Ceramics and Fine Metal's college courses.  (I think my friends and getting a bit tired of me excitedly gushing over my craft-cross-over plans, lol)

When you are totally jealous of sewing people with hardwood floors because your parents are starting to get mad about the cuts in the carpeting.

YKYACW your bedroom carpet (in your mom's house) is stained/covered with: black ink drips, acrylic paint drips, jump rings worked into the carpet fabric stuff, and blood stains from when you stabbed yourself with a seam ripper and stepped on a yarn needle.

YKYACW:

Friends give you broken odds and ends because "I thought you could make this into a necklace or something"

You begin to bring your crocheting to school with you. In the 4th grade. And are pestered by friends to show them how during recess ('cause kick-ball is overrated, lol)

You really hate the new flavored floss you bought because it is extra slippery and tastes bad, and wonder what you could crochet it into. Because throwing it away would be sucks waste of $1.

You take posters/flyers from the bulletin boards at school, because the colors/designs are sooo pretty and eventually you want to make some paper beads.

YKYACW...

The meeting times of your on-campus student Stitch n Bitch group clash with your night class, so you try to teach your 3 friends/roommates how to crochet. (one caught on real quick and finished a hat by the next night, one got stuck at chain stitch, and the other was *kinda* drunk during the lesson and didn't get it at all.)

You make a card for your fav. HS art teacher at the end of the school year (mom has Stampin' Up stuff), and he is really surprised when you say you made it, because it looks too professional.

Oh man, this one happened the other night:
YKYACW you find a sterling silver rope link bracelet in the parking lot/ alley area at a bar, and your first thought is "Now I don't have to buy silver shot to cast those earrings on monday!"

YKYACW you get you man to help you remove a door so you can try to get a shot of your shower curtain project so you can post it on craftster, because it's been so long since you've crafted or posted: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=359850.0 and then you post a link to that topic here hoping more people will look at it/comment.  Wink
