I'm away at school, and I feel myself draining slowly, because I've buzzed through all the craft supplies I've brought with me, and no one wants to drive the poor freshman to the nearest craft store. Heck, I'd settle for a Walmart, it's that bad..

YKYACW you look at someone's profile to see if they are in the same town as you and you can give them a ride.

YKYACW you want to test out a new knitting technique at work but don't have yarn or needles, so you improvise with a bunch of rubber bands tied together and two red pencils.  Tongue

YKYACW you can't decide what to put on your real business cards, but you are considering printing up cards with your favorite crafting sites (Craftster at #1, of course) because you recommend them so often. Smiley

Sticks and stones may break my bones, but sticks and string excite me.

Got Wist?
I'm on Ravelry, and now, so are my stash and WIPs.  Makin' progress!

you do this and you don't even have a car

(I have plans to go to Joanns tomorrow either by bus/cab or by way of friend's dad)

That's when you need to find the art or theater department and make some new friends.  You don't have to be in the class, especially with theater.  I am sure they would appreciate someone who already knows how to sew or make things for props.

Look around campus for found objects and come up with creative uses for them.  Snag all the free tshirts that you can and recon them.

I haven't had the internet for about a week since I've started university... I checked on the YKYACW2 thread and thought "HOLY CRAP! How did they get to over 500 pages while I was away?"

D'oh.
