YKYACW friends now ask you, "how did you make that?"
YKYACW any left over cash in your bank account doesn't go to practical things like bread or shampoo. Of course not. New art supplies, that's what a craftster needs.
YKYACW when your classically trained artist spouse's art supplies somehow work their way into your craft supply bin (or bins, because you have more than one in your cramped little one bedroom apartment)
YKYACW when shopping for more supplies (that you KNOW you do not need), you cannot decide between supplies for which medium (more yarn? more stamps? paper? paint? Canvas?)

YKYACW your boyfriend/girlfriend gets jealous because you spend more time crafting then you do with them.

Holy cow, my husband. As soon as the baby goes to sleep, we stay up and watch tv. I wip out my knitting needles, and he's like, "again? that's so booooring!"

my boyfriend knows that we can watch tv together while i crochet, thankfully

YKYACW you trade in a dvd that you have 2 of at a shop and ask for cash instead of store credit, even though you get less cash, so you can go buy more yarn

YKYACW you compliment your mom by saying "I'm hitting 'this rocks!'" and she is flattered.

YKYACW your friends are trying to find jobs and are down because they can't buy new clothes, you're trying to find a job so you can buy yarn, and maybe, if you're really feeling flush, a tunisian crochet hook

i found somewhere where i can buy a nice shiny one, so long as i can afford it, but i suppose that sharpening my swiss army knife and picking up some driftwood would be cheaper
hmmm this shall require serious consideration, lol, i'm gonna end up doing it

i love the idea of making your own hook, it would be so cool and have a much better 'vibe' and be great to use. especially if it was not completely straight
