I'm so glad you liked the ornaments monkeythumb!

And daina, they were easy to make.  I just used a big needle and a hammer to punch holes in the metal part, and then i used some eyepins, beads, and chain to gold them together.  I can make a tut, if you like, or you can pm me if you need more info.

Everyone's ornaments are so great!  This was such a fun swap!

I'm going to go ahead and post up pictures of what I sent MollieMoo2883 - she had been sick and probably forgot to post up pics.
She likes the color green so I sent her a crocheted set of ornaments with a  green theme - all were designed by me.

I like this set I made a lot - the little ski jackets are my favorite.  The stars were also just in Caron yarn's 12 days of Christmas patterns that they were just putting out through their newsletter.
I know not everyone likes crocheted things but being a yarnie at heart I do.  I do hope they find a good use!

I hope she liked them and that she is feeling better.

The candy cane hobby horses I made on my knitting machine - it is just a tube sort of - I did it in rows, folded it in half, seamed it together and then sewed on beady eyes, latch hooked on a mane, etc.. I was making things for craft shows and thought they would be popular - I bombed at craft shows sadly - I am considering doing some again in a year or so - not this fall but maybe the next ... we will see..... I would rather do some of the bizarre bazaars.  I am going to talk to some friends of mine out of town and see if I can convince them to join me for a weekend to do one... okay it will take a lot of time to stock pile stock but that's all good.  At least it will give me something to do with all the stash I have!!!
I think that Huntsville is saturated for craft show stuff - but then maybe my slightly twisted outlooks will help set me apart.. who knows...
What was I talking about?  Oh yeah, candy cane hobby horses!  Cheesy
They are fun to make... next time I make them I am going to figure out how to just do them in one long continuous strip - using waste yarn between ornaments... when I did them the last time I had to ewrap on each time.  For a hand knitter I am sure it would take no time at all but for a machine knitter ewrapping takes longer than making that ornament!

This was a fun swap.  I am so glad I joined!
