I made three of these for christmas gifts.  I had this german wrapping paper that i got on clearance and it was too beautiful just for wrapping; I had to use it in something more lasting!  These were really fun and easy to make.  I used mod podge and some leftover christmas ribbon to tie them closed with.  As you can see, with all that paper and ribbon, my cat was intrigued.

Here's mine! Covered in japanese washi and finished with a teeny owl bead. It turned out great, thanks for the tute!
