I know I'm not the only one trying to finish a knitted sweater for Rhinebeck! I tried last year with my CPH, but was unsuccessful. Will this be my year to come out on top? I hope so. I'm making the Cabled Cardigan from Runway Knits and I have done the back, left front and half a sleeve.

I love me some short row cables.

Is anyone else knitting something to wear to Rhinebeck?

Beautiful! Where do you live? I'm in Manlius right outside Syracuse and I think it's too far to go for the day by myself but I haven't totally ruled it out yet!

Aw, thank you! I am loving this sweater.

I live in Westchester and last year I found it totally worth the trip! I went with my mom. The Morehouse Merino store is on the way, too, and I would have driven out there just for that store. It definately should be on people's agenda. Maybe you could find somewhere to stay overnight?

Oooh, really? Maybe it would be worth it. It's a three hour trip and we have a 2yo who I'm guessing would like the animals for ten minutes and then be bored.... But hmmmm, maybe I should reconsider!

I'm going to Rhinebeck for the first time this year! It's pretty close to where I go to school, and it's right at the end of my fall break, so I'm driving back early to go. I'm so excited that I may just knit myself a sweater for the occasion!

The sleeve is done and the right front is started so I definately think I can have it done!
