Neekie, Thank you SO much for explaining how I could post a picture without a link!  Yeah!!

Sorry Milliebug -- I don't have a picture of the original sweater.  It was a cream angora -- in great shape, but WAY too big for me and I didn't like the style.  I actually have enough undyed yarn left to make something else.  I'm thinking about the calla sweater.

That is beautiful. You did a wonderful job on it and, it's very flattering on you.
I'm working on a sweater and I'm going to have quite a bit of leftover matching yarn. I think that what I'll do is knit up some matching accessories, when it's done. Probably a purse, headband, whatever else I can think of that I might like, to go along with it.
It's just an idea.    Roll Eyes

That is so beautiful, and it fits you well!  (I envy your lovely angora).

Do you think that you'll eventually post a pattern, for your lovely sweater? I hope so. It's such a nice one.  Roll Eyes

Thanks everyone for all the comments.  I'm not sure if I can post a pattern.   I got the idea for the bottom lace from the Ribs and Lace Tunic in Interweave's spring mag -- it's called Ladder Lace.  The rest I kind of made up as I went along.
