As a writing teacher, I am forever collecting work from my students. To prevent writing from getting everywhere on my desk, I picked up a wooden paper try from IKEA, and went to town with it.

I made a 3-page Word document filled with the word "In" in as many different-looking fonts as I had access to. I made two copies of these pages, cut out all the little "In"s and then let the Mod Podge loose.

The result:

My students would sometimes ask where the "in box" was, and then when they saw it, they'd say, "oh, duh." Wink

What do you think?

WOW!!!!  That is so freakin cool!!!  It looks so smooth... when I use Mod Podge it wrinkles the paper!  How did you get it not to wrinkle?

Thank you, Everyone!

MissMischief, these little pieces wanted to wrinkle, but I used a fairly stiff-bristled brush and I kept pushing the little wrinkles out as I went. Try it and see if it works for you! Smiley

That is adorable! I love how when you view it at a distance the lettering seems very mysterious, and then you realize it's all those variations on a simple word.

O....M....G!!!!! That is the coolest in box EVER!!!!

I have a sick obsession with words and letters on everything-- my laptop skin is random letters floating around, I love it-- and this is pretty much the best thing ever. I might just have to redo my nasty in and out boxes at work like this. Great idea!!

*tries to not take offence* XD

But I think it is a fair statement that for most of us it's true  Wink

I'm still pretty much obsessed with this. I'm thinking of making one for my English teacher for Christmas :/
