My daughter is in her fairy/princess faze and she needed a wand (or at least I decided she did).  So I made her a flower wand.

Here's what I did:
Painted a dowel with some lavender paint and then wrapped a pretty sparkle ribbon down the dowel.  I took a pretty fake flower apart and hot glued it to the top of the "wand".  I took more sparkle ribbon and tied it around the dowel at the very top, directly under the flower then added some glue to it so it wouldn't come un-done.  Smiley  voila!  A beautiful wand...simple and from start to finish took about 20 minutes..including dry time!  Smiley  Great for Halloween costumes!

and here is the action shot...but I couldn't get my daughter to take her eyes off the TV...she was watching Barbie Island Princess....lol
