just a note to say thanks for posting this lovely quilt. I saw it way back when you posted it, and really took to its charm.

I hope you don't mind, but I've used it as inspiration for a quilt I've just posted photos of. I pretty new to quilting, so instead of using scraps I used a set of six retro-style fabrics I picked up, and I centered a solid colour in the middle with a quote stitched in as the focal point of the piece.

thanks for all your hard work, as it inspired my work and helped me come up with a great gift for a friend's wedding! x

This is so gorgeous!

I am looking for a fun and funky way to use scraps etc. for a quilt for my Mom. I have made many quilts (I have a Singer & LOVE it...ha ha!) This is one of the nicest examples of scrap quilting that I have ever seen.

I love it. Thanks for posting & for including your pattern & tips etc Smiley
