Hi!

I dont know if you remember but about 1/2 a year ago I emailed you about using your idea for a swap that I was hosting.   I wanted to let you know that the swap was a success.  Everybody loved their quilts.  Here's a photo of mine.

It's still a top and not even close to the monster-sized quilt you made, but I'll get to it.....someday.

Thank you for letting me use your idea!

I LOVE it!  You should feel proud..and one persons monstrosity is an others work of art anyway!  Make sure you make a label so when the aliens find it 1,000 years from now, they will be able to trace it back to you

I am so envious.  I aspire to make a quilt like this, free up some space, and enjoy the bright colors in my bedroom!  Smiley  I have not made a quilt before, so I'm more than a little intimidated.

I am IN LOVE with this Monstrosity! I have a dream! A dream where I too, sew all my itty bitty scraps into something monstrous!

You can make one easy!  Think in terms of squares that are 3 inches, 6", 9" and 12.  Your ultimate goal is to fill the space with these sizes.  You can make blocks that are 6 and a bunch of 3's.  or 9 and a row of 3's and then throw in some 12's.  To offset it and make it not grid like, just make one row of 3's somewhere in each band of 12.  Is this confusing?  Sorry if so.

The trade quilt is beautiful!  finish that bad boy up!

PS- sorry i've been mia from the board lately.
