I found a rusty metal circle in the parking lot.It had holes evenly all around it,so I dug through my odd beads, got out some copper wire, and made a tree of life.

It's now strung on a black plastic cord, just the right size for a pendant.

Thank you! Now I'm obsessively scanning the ground wherever I go looking for more!I did find some nice rusty gears to play with today. There's an auto repair shop near where I work-I'm sure they wonder why I aimlessly roam their parking lot.Smiley Id love to try making some steampunk jewelry.

This is awesome. I am a tree of life "fanatic". Do you or anyone by chance know what this piece of metal may be so that I could maybe buy one?

Thanks for the kind words.Sorry I don't know what the metal piece is-I scavenged it from the parking lot of a Goodyear automotive near where I work. Maybe if you looked at an auto supply place? The DH doesn't have a clue either. If I find out,I'll post right away.

Ah, that looks like the litle spinny thingy from the inside of a hard drive! I turned mine into a keychain, but I might turn it into a pendant after seeing yours!
 Great job!
