I often see many people's fridges covered with magnets that have phone numbers and business names all over them. I'm not a fan of these unfashionable magnets and fridges, so I turn them into magnets that I WANT to look at and WANT to KEEP on my fridge. Here are some of my examples Cheesy sorry for the blurry pictures!

The magnets are VERY simple to make. Take a bunch of those old company magnets, write down the information if it's important, and at one of the corners start SLOWLY peeling back the image. It helps a lot if you manage to rip off the entire image at once so that you don't have to peel of extra paper (VERY annoying), and so that the glue is mostly intact. Have the picture you want to place on the magnet read. I personally traced the shape of the magnet over magazine images, cut it out and stuck it on!
If you do have problems with extra paper that is hard to get off you can try soaking it but this removes the glue that you could have used in the first place.
If there isn't enough glue already on the magnet, you can use regular white glue but use as little as possible because extra glue will  make your image have bubbles underneath, which will make the image bulge.

I hope you like them!!

I kind of cheated last time I went to the pharmacy...They had a stack of magnets for the home delivery option thingy and I asked if I could take a bunch and luckily they said yes. Now I have a bunch of magnets that are the same size Cheesy

What a great (and simple) idea!  As soon as I saw this, I had to try it!  If I post photos, I'll be sure to link.  Thanks for the inspiration!    Smiley
