Dolores Umbridge is the new Defense Against The Dark Arts instructor from "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix".  This kitty pin is inspired by Miss Umbridge's brooch worn with each of her pink-toned ensembles.
  • Base is old credit card cut into oval shape.
  • Photocopied image glued center of base.
  • Clear plastic adhesive backed scrapbook "gem" stuck on top of cat image.
  • Border covered with glue then covered with tiny microscopic beads.
  • Pin back glued to back.

I really love your pin!

Wonderful job!

How did you make the border look embossed?

The border is tiny, tiny little beads.
If you mean the edge on top of image, that is a clear plastic papercraft or scrapbook "gem".  It is sold in craft stores near the stickers.
Hope that answers your question.

Oh man, that's so cute! It's very Umbridge, but cute XD
I like that it does have that victorian feel, but it would be really easy to juxtapose that with a funky fun picture. I might have to experiment with it!

Art could be ever so funny if it wasn't such a deadly serious business.
