This is my very first post. So, deep breath and here goes.  Smiley

A few years ago, after having moved 3 times in as many years, I was feeling bad for my daughter who was 14 at the time. So, when we moved back to our hometown, I wanted to fix her room up. We were on a very tight budget. But with help from family, I think it turned out nice.

We painted the entire room a soft pink, with soft lilac accents.

The vanity was provided by her great-aunt. It needed some tlc, so we sanded it and painted it white.

I got the canopy at Bed, Bath & Beyond. I found some butterfly clips to hold it up. The bedding, rugs, corner shelf and night stand I got online.

We surprised her on her birthday after she had been away for the weekend.

Thanks for looking!

You are my sweetest downfall. I loved you first, I loved you first. Beneath the sheets of paper lies my truth.

Thanks for all the kind feedback. I saw the lamp and wanted it for myself.  Wink
