I haven’t been able to spend much time on craft projects for nearly a year.  But I’ve recently been back to my paper therapy.  I had tried to make shadow boxes from my trip to Europe – but they didn't work.  I wanted to have something to keep all of my paper memories together…and one day I found the perfect vessel for these little treasures.  I bought an empty paint pail from Home Depot, used tacky glue to attach a Paris Map and then added a variety of stickers people have given to me over the last few years.

I have a Paris Pail!

Wow!  It's even cooler than I thought it was now that I can see it.  What a great way to store you mementos!

That is absolutely brilliant.  And the pail is lovely.  I have my stuff from my Europe trip and living overseas and hatbox type things I got at Michael's.  One has Paris and one has London on it.  But I think I like yours even better!  Great work!

Thanks for all the sweet comments!  I had to make something for my treasures.  And EVERYONE keeps sending me these excellent Eiffel Tower stickers and pictures - so I wanted to use them somehow.  The map popped up in a store somewhere and I've held on to it until I had the inspiration for this project.  Ahh....now on to England for my next pail!

oooh, that's awesome! I've had a big circular cookie tin sitting around without purpose, and this gave me a lot of ideas. Thank you for sharing this!

What a great idea, I had no idea that you could purchase empty paint pails. It looks so chic.

That is great. It's nice to have something special to hold your special somethings! I have that same map framed like a poster in my home. If I ever decide to cut into it, I'll have to remember this.

I purchased two pieces of that paper - one for my pail and the other for the wall.  I haven't framed it yet.
