I've done a few stencils now and my problem is always the same...

When I take the freezer paper off it leaves little parts of it that then don't WANT to come off and make the whole thing look goopy.

Am I leaving the paper on too long? Not long enough? Any ideas?

I'm finally showing progress at cutting out the stencils more cleanly but you'd sure never know it.

I know I can master this but I need help!!

hhhmm......maybe your putting too much paint at one time.....I put the freezer paper down and iron it for long enough to where it sticks.....then I paint in layers....a light layer at a time until it is all covered and looks good.  In small areas I find that instead of painting, it is easier to pat the paint on with the brush...so you are sure the stencil doesn't move.  It's worked so far for me...but I am no where close to being an expert.  Smiley
