I used the thinest brush I could find and made sure the paint was watered down a bit. If you start with thick paint it gets lumpy and the lines won't be the same thickness. I had to go over a few lines but the extra time was worth it. I didn't seal them or anything because when ever I get regular acrylic paint on my clothes it NEVER comes off, no matter how hard I try.

Those are so beautiful it's offensive. Really. I love sugar skulls, and then you had to go and add a key and lock, and that's just putting it over the edge of awesome and into the pit of SO AMAZING THAT IT'S PAINFUL.

So take your painfully offensive awesomeness to Etsy and sell us all some sugar skull shoes!

Love,
Hayley Jane

I'd hate to buy a bunch of shoes and get all the wrong sizes. What's the average size girls wear now a days?

My feet are not completely typical. I wear an 8 double-wide or an 8 1/2 wide, or a 9 regular width. I have duck feet. heehee

I think the majority of my friends are 7-9. These are US sizes.

I would gladly ship you a pair of shoes I have already tried on. Then you could paint them and post them as a pre-sold item. Etsy gets their 3.5% and you get paid, and I get the coolest shoes on the planet (OK second coolest, after your originals.)
