Ok, finally I'm getting round to posting pics. I'm truly sorry for making you all wait that long!! Taerowyn, I really appreciate your package, it's just been a busy time... but here we go:

Really cool journal that I have to use for something special. It's so pretty!

Detail:

T-Shirt stencilled with a mermaid (based on "Go and catch a falling star" by John Donne:

Detail:

It's a perfect colour, and I love the stencil - it came out so well! Unfortunately it is a tiny bit too tight, it does fit, but I'm not that comfortable wearing it. Since I was planning on losing a little weight (if I can be bothered), there's still hope though.
I DO wear this a lot, though (also based on the Donne poem). Action shot first:

and detail of the falling star:

I'm wearing this around the house all the time, it's perfect! Not as warm as a wooly scarf, just right for indoors at the chilly time of the year.

And last but not least, "Armwarmers that a fox might wear"  Cheesy :

I'm glad you didn't knit them to fit a fox, my arms are pretty thin, but not that thin  Grin I've already worn them, it's getting chilly outside and they're just the thing if you don't want to wear mittens or gloves.

Thanks a lot Taerowyn!! I've really enjoyed this swap and it was a great package!

Now - where's the loot the rest of you got???

Yeah,Taerowyn has great stenciling skills-I was the lucky recipient of a pair of jammies in a swap with her once. And I'm in awe of anyone who can knit.Great package!
I heard from my partner on the 18th,she promised to post pictures and ship soon.I'm waiting for her.I did put stuff on the scanner before I shipped, but those aren't great pictures.Someday I'll upgrade to a non-antique version of windows....

"Armwarmers that a fox might wear"  Cheesy :

OK, possible I was very tired and out of it when writing your notes  Embarrassed...twas supposed to be "that a falconer might wear" to go with Yeats' The Second Coming Which, while still a stretch, should make a bit more sense  Cheesy

Glad you like it all (though sorry the T is tight  Undecided)!

As for other pics...we've got a few shippers straggling in and (so far) one completed angel assignment so there's a few more packages to go up in the gallery eventually.

ahhh ... falconer ... yes, that DOES make more sense  Wink  although I was happy with the idea a cute little fox would like to wear them when it's cold  Cheesy

I was holding off posting pics of what I sent, because they're crappy pics using a scanner. But I quit hearing from my partner,so here they are.
This journal is made from a cd cover-it looked like hep cats doing beat poety,daddy-o.A bead and elastic makes the closure.

The necklaces are because she liked Poe.The faded cameo could be lost lenore, and the shiver is from a magnetic poety kit.I put them on a chain;I was wanting it to look old.

I'm not sure my pics are loading properly-I'm going to post this and see if it works before I do the rest.

I hate my computer.Sigh.Once more,into the breach,dear friends-

A muse-tissue paper-glue made the colors melt together nicely, and made it hard and shiny,a little gold paint, cloth head, odd jewelry features-the base is a round tin painted blue.

Both necklaces-the brassy one has a small key,for secrets, and a small bottle labeled nepenthe, for things forgotten.

Some little things-she was proud of her mannequin leg vase,so we have a hollow doll leg bud vase to go with it,a candle wrapped in shimmery blue with some Emily Dickenson poetry, and a fairy-because she likes fairies.Forgot to scan the front, oops.

A jewelry box with a ton of glitter-because of this quote I put inside-"Poetry,if we may take a moment to explain to the young people,is an art form not unlike wrap, only it does not sell, and since the death of Lord Byron, there has been a paucity of bling-bling."So a poet bling box.

A mini metal box cover in shiny silver bubble wrap, just because she likes funky things and silver.
There was a little metal box with a seaside scene,I just added a line of a Dickenson poem that had an ocean theme, wish I'd scanned that, and a poetry anthology-Metropolitan museum of art's Art & Nature-a mix of their artwork, and a poem that fit on each page, but I didn't scan that either.Sorry for the size of this post;it's past my bedtime, and I obviously haven't posted pics in a long time! Crappy old computer plus luddite equals frustration!
