I received from Rackycoo.

Here's a couple of pictures of what I sent kittykill:
The outside of a little Bride of Frankenstein shrine. I'll let her post the interior, because I changed it up a bit after I took pictures.  Cheesy

A cheesy grinning jack o'lantern on a stand:

And another cheesy fellow, a black cat container:

I also painted a frame, but I was so excited to get all this in the mail that I neglected to get a picture of it.  Cheesy

Sorry these pics are so huge. I have no idea how to resize them.  Tongue

Wow Racky, those are amazing! I love that look and everything you did is just fabulous. I'm dying to get a peek of the inside of that shrine.

rackycoo, your creations are wonderful and so authentic! You really nailed the vintage Halloween theme on the head.

I have to admit, some of the stuff I'm doing isn't strictly within the vintage theme, but that's okay I'm sure. Everything is turning out pretty good and I think my partner will dig it all. I wish I were done and sent already because I can't wait for her to get her treats!!! Even though I'm crafting strong and hard, the going is at a slow point where there is a lot of waiting for this one thing to dry and the local store being out of that last thing I need. I'll be done in time, though. No worries!

Wonderful stuff!  Fabulous painting skills there Rackycoo.  I have a VERY similar punkin' face in my "I might be using this for something I'm making in this swap" pile.  (A pile from which I swear I hear occasional bits of sarcastic laughter.)  But that cat face is really different - very cool.  Both are beautifully executed.

I am kind of in the same boat as liebschien - much progress, slow going.  (BTW, liebschien is the name of my husband's car Grin.  He rebuilt an old Karmann Ghia and wanted a German name for his sweetheart.  I guess it made his ex really jealous, but I'm just glad he has a crazy crafty obsession - makes mine seem less weird Cheesy.)

I was apparently insane when I chose my projects.  I thought they were "mediums," then I thought they were "large".  Now gargantuan is coming to mind.

I have prevailed and finished one of them - yippee!  The other really huge one is very close to done and one more is now well under way.  Oh and I REALLY like the way the finished one came out - so it was worth the time!

Hint for my swap partner, I can't get this Demetri Martin quote out of my head: "The thing about glitter is, if you get it on you, be prepared to have it on you forever. 'Cause glitter doesn't go away. Glitter is the herpes of craft supplies."

It's not that I don't want to swap, it's that I often don't have time.  But feel free to ask (especially if it's one that's not too time consuming).

Ha, I love that quote! I made something very glittery for another swap and the glitter is being sent in all the other swaps just because it is everywhere! But, I love glitter. Especially the extra fine stuff.

Anwyway, I SENT! Package should arrive in about 4 days to lemadrid!

HOLY MOLY Rackycoo!!! Is it ok if i kidnap you and make you craft just for me all the time? What a gorgeous package!! WOW!

I too am doing something a little off kilter...my partner likes primitive stuff too, so i have that sort of thing going in the package as well. This is too fun...we should do another round, who cares if it is after halloween! Smiley
