my boyfriend bought me this very pretty dress for my bday but unfortunately i didn't receive it until aug. (my bday is in may) b/c i was living in mi and he in co. and he didn't bother mailing it. lazy boy. so now its sept, i STILL haven't worn it but i would like to b/f there's snow on the ground! is there any crochet patterns for like a bolero or something to match this and still show off most of the dress that anyone knows of that are quick, easy and look nice? and that would go along with the style of dress? here's some pics... please excuse my b/fs messy closet!

I think a pretty shawl would be great with that dress.

ooooooo a shawl to match the lace on the dress! maybe something like a row of pineapples  surrounded by lattice or something, but I can't see enough of the detail on the lace to really say.

thanks for the suggestions! i will def check out some shawl patterns and see what there is out there. and i actually did have one really warm day so my b/f made me wear it when we went out Smiley
