I created these shoes out of some charity shop plain white canvas shoes I bought for two quid then fabric penned. I ironed them to seal the ink (which was a pain!) and then sealed it with some shoe spray I bought from a shoe shop.
The picture on them is from 'Wham' by Roy Lichtenstein.

Here they are, minus their laces:

awesome!
Now I am inspired to buy some cheap-o shoes and dress them up.

How well do you think they will withstand snow and wet?

Those are great!  You have transformed them.  You are pretty good with the fabric pens!

Wow, that is my DH's fave Lichtenstein piece. The acuracy and detail you have achieved there is amazing - can't believe how well you have scaled the images to fit.

Did you freehand the ink work or did you use some kind of stencil to transfer?

I would worry so much about ruining these I'd be afraid to wear them!!
